It is even hard to burn popcorn, the base distributes the heat so evenly. Magnificent piece of kitchenware, although one might be interested in the same 8 qt. pot with the pasta and steaming inserts, where available, for added practicality. The handles are beautifully designed and are extremely high quality, like everything else here.
